Green comparison shopping - We don't define green for you. We vet all products, tag them and allow you to shop based on your shade of green.
Pristine Planet is virtual market place where you can view and comparison shop between green merchants and eco-friendly products. We do this because we believe that each act makes a difference, and that all shades of green need to be honored. Our business is to offer a wide variety of quality products for shoppers to choose from, and to support the merchants who use Pristine Planet to display their merchandise.
We would love to have the time to research new advances and to write in detail about the ‘green’ economy, but for now that is not our focus. We know there are hundreds if not thousands of people and organizations who specialize in just this so we will use this space to direct you onwards as well as to mention items of interest that we come across while we concentrate on doing what Pristine Planet is set up to do.
Most of the day we are busy making sure Pristine Planet is a top choice amongst ‘green’ shoppers. We take time and trouble to ensure we attract the best merchants so that customers have plenty of choices as they view the merchandise available. We understand that in making a decision to shop sustainably there may well be compromises along the way. Each of us, as individuals, will probably make different choices and that’s why we offer the service we do.
We want to be as transparent as possible and so leave it up to the merchant and their customer to complete the sale and finalize the transaction. We focus on the initial phase of bringing the shopper and the merchant together. We help to make the match to find the right fit.
Part of ensuring we have a wealth of quality merchants for shoppers to choose from is how we manage the other side of the equation. We must offer them a special as well as an efficient and effective service. It is a co-relationship between Pristine Planet, the merchants and their customers.
Our name Pristine Planet stands for a belief. A simple purchase may not seem like much, but the reality is, your purchase creates ripples in the economy. When enough people support companies with a triple bottom line (people, planet, profit), these ripples will have a profound impact on society and the planet. So the next time you are faced with a decision to buy a product, decide what kind of splash you would like to create.

As part of this service we are out and about in the market place. We Tweet on Twitter with green and eco friendly tips, coupons for shoppers and links to informative news.
We like so many of you are still ‘works in progress’ and have our own fair share of ‘green sins’ as well as successes to report. We are using our growing fan page on Face Book to encourage conversation and comment and are starting a new feature there each Monday as part of the philosophy of REDUCE RE-USE RECYCLE. There we will be posting what Pristine Planet team members have done the previous week to support this goal and we would love for you to share your successes too.
